A Fancy French Moisturizer, Not So Fancy Price :)

Hey beauties!

So this is the Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre , (or 24-Hour Miracle Cream in the states!). I featured this in my April Favorites 2011 video about a week ago and I felt like it deserved it's very own blog post :)

So...I purchased this off Amazon.com for $15.00 (I've now seen it being sold for less..about $13.00) and it has 2.6 Fl.OZ of product in it. It's a bit more pricier than most drugstore products, but significantly less cheaper than high-end moisturizers.

I purchased this because of all the rave reviews from Pixiwoo and from the Makeupalley website. I have OILY-COMBINATION skin that can be pretty picky about what it likes and doesn't like it so I was a bit worried about this product when I realized that it had mineral oil in it after I had already purchased it. So I did some research and found out that mineral oil in cosmetics and skincare products is cosmetic grade mineral oil and is intended for the face, in theory it shouldn't cause any problems. But, you should be the judge on this one. Keep in mind the product does not say non-comedogenic.

With that being said, my skin LOVES it! I'm so surprised and relieved! I've been looking for a great moisturizer that wouldn't make me oily and I've found it! My skin feels so healthy and doesn't have to produce as much oil anymore because this moisturizer is doing the work! It's surprisingly thin, has a VERY faint smell (that I love!), and comes in a metal squeeze tube with a cap that twists off. I love the packaging, very sturdy and nice for travel, it's not going to burst on you.

BOTTOM LINE: I completely recommend this for every skin type. I was terrified of the mineral oil, but my skin seems to love it, and so do many other people's skin on Makeupalley. I wish it was a bit more accessible in the states, but ordering online wasn't too much of a hassle. I use about nickel size for my whole face in the morning, and a quarter size in the evening. This is HG for me, and nothing is ever HG for me!

Have you tried this? Do you want to? What was your experience?

XOXO Callie :)
